The Community of Trementina
I travel through (probably more accurately *beside*) "New" Trementina from my home in Tucumcari to the Las Vegas and points beyond a lot. A fire station, an abandoned school, a DOT maintenence yard, a post office attached to a ranch house, and "Old" Trementina four miles to the east of the main junction.
Apparently, the most interesting thing happening nearby is the Scientology Trementina Base a handful of miles to the southeast. No one knows what happens there, but you can see an airstrip and something akin to a crop circle (indicator to passing spacecraft?) in satellite photos.
