ChristWorkToJudgment

The work Christ has done (and will continue to do toward redemption) is toward the goal of your appearing "clean" and resurrected for judgment. Many think that Christ is a major factor in the ultimate reward passed judgment, but I don't think so, beyond him making it profitable for you to make life changes toward where what you desire as a reward.

Christ had done two Large things that you cannot do for yourself:

• Christ has resurrected and he makes everyone else resurrect as well. You will have a body into the eternities, thought we don't know exactly what that means. You won't get sick and you won't die, but we don't know anything else about resurrection. What about tattoos or piercings or other things we do to our bodies that may remain in resurrection?
• Christ offers you repentance, which give the ability to avoid punishment for sin. All of your sins must be "paid for" before you reach judgment (You cannot stand before God bearing sins.) Either you repent of any particular sin and Christ pays that price for you, or you will have to be punished for that sin (Christ reveals that this is the greatest pain imaginable.) You DO NOT want to be punished for your sins!

The less effort and time you need to expend to deal with your sins, the more you can use to become the best person you can be (life Christ and the Father), qualifying for a highest reward.
