I am dictating this as I'm driving home. I don't know exactly how this is going to go but we're going to give it a try. This is likely better than having to suffer through one of my recordings. It is something more than 3 hours on the road between the Lubbock Temple and our homes so I have plenty of time to write things. As I speak now thriving on Luke 289 in Lubbock Texas and I have just completed a session and endowment session at the temple in Lubbock. It's been an interesting day and I wanted to record parts of it.
I woke up this morning it is a Tuesday and I had some ideas about actually creating a mission statement for myself which is strange because I have always avoided things like mission statements and goal statements and visions and things like that. In the distant past I had thought about getting my doctor of ministry degree in applied wisdom from ubiquity University but I have put it aside several times for a variety of reasons. I don't think I woke up with that particularly on my mind but as I was composing and only roughly composing the mission statement it became obvious that that would be one of the goals to fall out of it was to get a get a doctorate. The mission statement is attached to a page next to this one so I have no need to go over it and I also put in a vision statement that basically says I would like to be among candidates for consideration for the presiding Bishop of the church. A very cocky desire to be sure, but certainly something for which one should be grateful for being considered for it's not called. Then I had several goals under this they came up within the course of probably 10 or 15 minutes of my Awakening. They all have to do with helping myself and others to desire and attain exaltation I think I miss my turn I always do this I end up having to drive back I am I am happy that
I'm finding the dictation that I'm doing to be rather stinted although I'm not talking in a natural voice I'm doing staccato and it doesn't sound right or good I'm going to try talk a little more naturally with the expectation that it will just be able to figure it out and I'm not going to be checking whether it's doing it correctly or not.
A whole section of what I had said to be dictated just wasn't dictated I think when I take a long pause it tends to shut itself down and not be listing anymore and that probably is very useful so I'm going to end this and save it as a good example of what dictation can do and I will go back to making an audio recording which I know is more difficult for people to process maybe it's better if if the recording is done first and then a speech to to text rendering is done of it but I don't have the equipment to do that and I think I won't do much relative to them anyway I'm done for this particular recording and you can see that it did it actually works very well and talk to you later
