Engineering a Latter-day Saint / Jewish merger
This is going to be an effort to explore how the core tenets of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the core tenets of the ancient religion of the Children of Israel can be effectively merged in a way to answer the requirements of the Lord.
The Rationale (Why do this? Justifications)
Ephesians 4:5-6 - one faith, one baptism. There can not be two different roads to exaltation/coming unto God.
Examples of religious mergers (United Brethren? Christian-Non Christian?) but this is not a merger, but Jews accepting Jeues as Messiah and feeling both comfortable and expansive in the LDS faith. Jews don't have to be practical Protestants, just like early gentile Christians didn't need to convert to Judaism (circumscion).
- Seek out merger groups and discover how this was done and lessons learned.
- As LDS faith is becoming more home-based (as Jewish faith already is), exploration of central Christian tenets that find analogues in Jewish practice (rituals at Shabbot start to LDS CoIVid? sacrament practice)
- Collect change process information from several religious groups/traditions, Community of Christ (being root-mates to LDS) might be very useful to understand.

Modern Judaism to its Ancient Torahism (Moses)

- 6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
- An important aspect of Judaism (does it harken back to ancient times?) is its decentralized nature. There is no central authority to be appealed to or altered to make a melding "official" practice. Individual Jews and family groups develop their own observance within Torah laws.

- "Jewish" priests might be authoritative in LDS baptisms and sacrament, at least among their own initially.
- the Kiddush (wine blessing), Netilat Yadayim (washing hands) then the HaMotzi? (bread (challah) blessing - torn or sliced) at the commencement of Shabbot. - 57 And are priests of the Most High, after the order of Melchizedek, which was after the order of Enoch, which was after the order of the Only Begotten Son.

- As the LDS faith is highly centralized, institutional and cultural changes will have to be made to make them more "jew-friendly", Once the general leadership decides a change is to be made however, the laity falls into line.

- John the Baptist was the source of initial LDS priesthood (Aaronic) authority - can other priests of his sort perform authoritative baptisms in the LDS tradition? Finally give Aaronic priests something useful to do in the world.
- A Israelite Jew practice within the LDS framework (outside of quasi-protestant forms) - sacrament in the home, Christ-centered baptisms (among jews) - referred to elders for Holy Ghost gift. Cross-cultural holy days and festivals.
- Jesus ignores the Sanhedrin, the governing group of pharasees (rabbis), but cleanses the temple. Not recognizing the Jewish leaders but reaffirming the temple.
Weaving the Essence of each together (Obeying Both Covenants "without prejudice")
Overcoming Opposition (tolerate separateness "Jewish wards"?)
- "Melded" Units (or situations) - We already have a few LDS units that operate differently for cultural reasons (sacrament meetings on Sat rather than Sun in Israel)
- weaving together both traditions as one in culturally-appropriate places
- appeal to Messianic Jews to join LDS and LDS join Messianic Jews until ritual and practice are the same.

Women are essentially complete with menstration that comes. Men need to a house of prayer and peace. Hausoi? - the man will provide for us and protect us. In the traditional teachings of our Navajo people, a woman becomes a woman when she begins her monthly cycle.
But it’s different for a man.
A man is not a man.
He spends his entire life trying to live up to what he is taught at his coming-of-age ceremony.
If he does achieve that title… he likely won’t be around to know it.
It’s something that may not be spoken until he has gone to the next world, and his family says it about him when he is gone.
Perhaps there is less of this today.
Not every male will become a Man in the traditional teachings.
