This is another case of the Lord himself saying that he will be commanding the destruction of the wicked from the earth by fire.

The Lord loves those who are obedient to him and destroys the wicked when he chooses to do so.

9 And at my command the heavens are opened and are shut; and at my word the earth shall shake; and at my command TheInhabitantsThereofShallPassAway, even so as by fire.
