I get very interesting advice from Forth programming language/environment. In the 2023 annual Forth Day fireside chat, Chuck Moore suggested the practice of Earthing. I just looked it up and the NIH gets it's digs in first on a Google Search, but I like the tofu-munching https://www.verywellmind.com/what-is-earthing-5220089 better.

Basically, touch the ground a lot (walk barefoot or work your garden without gloves) when outside, or put your bare feet on a metallic screen that is connected to your house electrical ground (if the place is properly grounded), either one for at least 30 minutes a day. This is purported to have all sorts of benefits.

MyWonderfulLisaLove really got into this idea and we started spending time in the yards with our shoes off and then we ordered some grounding mats for the floor in front of our loveseat ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07G2LVCSZ ) and a grounding sheet on our bed ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D2XKPHDT ).  I had to run more wiring under the house to bring out a ground wire where the pad and sheet were needed.  She reports that her joint pain is reduced!
