We are being told that women are generally having fewer children, like they are choosing to only have one or two as opposed to the higher numbers of previous generations. A deeper look at the numbers reveals something different - many women are now choosing to NOT have ANY children and those who are having children are tending to have them in the same number as their mothers and grandmothers.

It appears that women who have deeper cultural ties to larger families are continuing their cultural practice. The big change is coming from women who forego cultural ties and choose to live childless lives and these numbers are growing at a far more alarming rate than the simpler statistics indicate.

This is the most important thing we are on Earth to do. If you don't do it, you are worse than a failure. Don't be considerate to people who are not totally committed to obedience to God's law on this, either by doing it yourself (as much as you can) or preaching very hard for others to do it if you can't.

1. Get Married (in the temple) and stay devoted to your spouse and to God.
2. Have Babies (in the covenant) and raise them (in the gospel).
3. Preach The Family Proclamation often to everyone, especially your children.

Jesus curses the unfruitful fig tree.

12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:

13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
